Gloucestershire Trading Standards have a 'Buy With Confidence' local trader scheme to safe guard the general public from rogue traders. All traders have to submit 10 referees from previous customers (chosen by Trading Standards). Public liability insurance and criminal records are checked as are paperwork and complaints procedures.
